audiovisual study
notation system based on a grid of 4 mm high and 1 mm wide units. the vertical (x-axis) is defined by the subdivision into 88 tones. the horizontal (y-axis) is theoretically undefined in its extension and defines the temporal course. the filling of the grid cells thus determines the sounding or non-sounding of a tone. to convert the analogue notation into a digital form, a separate track was created for each of the 88 possible sinusoidal tones and assigned an oscillator of the respective hz-frequency.
